Interdisciplinary focus

Pacific’s sustainability degree program combines liberal arts and professional education. You'll delve into topics like environmental science, communication, health and wellness, sociology and quantitative analysis, while also gaining practical experience through real-world projects and community partnerships. This interdisciplinary approach will equip you with the knowledge and skills to address complex sustainability challenges. 

Personalized academic experience

Students in Pacific’s sustainability program take coursework in three of Pacific’s prestigious colleges -- College of the Pacific, Eberhardt School of Business and the School of Engineering and Computer Science – allowing you to customize your curriculum with a variety of courses designed to foster the next generation of environmental advocates, scientists and environmentally conscious businesses.  

Dual-degree program

Students enrolled in the sustainability degree program have the option to take graduate courses through Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law to earn a master’s degree in public policy (MPP) or public administration (MPA) while completing their undergraduate degree requirements.
