About Andrew:
What is your favorite thing to do on campus?
I really like watching movies at Pacific’s Janet Leigh Theatre. Showings are free to current students and discounts are available for alumni, faculty and staff. It is a great space to enjoy recent Hollywood releases and learn more about the glamorous film careers of Pacific’s very own movie stars like Janet Leigh and Jaime Lee Curtis.
What is your favorite place to go to in Stockton?
The historic Miracle Mile on Pacific Avenue is my favorite place to frequent in Stockton! As a local, I spent a lot of my childhood growing up on the Mile and near Pacific’s campus. The Mile is a special place for me with lots of great memories. I hope you, too, will enjoy spending some time on the Miracle Mile as you explore Stockton and your new home at Pacific.
What is your favorite movie?
Without question my all-time favorite movie is Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981). Dr. Henry “Indiana” Jones Jr., professor of archeology, takes us on a whirlwind adventure to locate the lost Ark of the Covenant before it is discovered and its awesome power wielded by evil forces because, after all, “That belongs in a museum!” It has action, adventure, romance, and cameos of Pacific’s beautiful historic campus all rolled into one timeless film!
