Breanna Daley
Breanna Daley joined the Conservatory of Music at University of the Pacific as their ensemble librarian in fall 2023. During her graduate studies, she held various positions with University of Northern Iowa’s School of Music, Rod Library and Museum. In addition to ensemble librarianship, she has experience with academic music library collections and public history archives.
Daley maintains a career as a flutist, teaching and performing frequently in the area. She has performed with the Washington-Idaho and Folsom Lake Symphony orchestras, and currently plays with the Sacramento Symphonic Winds and the Camellia City Flute Choir. She also serves on the board for the Sacramento Flute Club.
Originally from Sacramento, Daley holds a Bachelor of Music degree in flute performance from Washington State University, and Master of Music degrees in flute performance and in music history from University of Northern Iowa. Her master’s thesis "The Flute Music of Claude Arrieu: Jean Pierre Rampal, Radio, and the French Flute School" examines two lesser-known flute compositions written by French female composer Claude Arrieu.
