Eric Dumbleton
Eric has nearly three decades of experience in higher education administration, including over 17 in development and fundraising in the Bay Area.
Before joining the Dugoni School, he served as chief development officer at University of California College of the Law, San Francisco, where he oversaw a team of 13, building a culture of success which resulted in impactful fundraising. Before that, Eric was the senior associate athletics director for development at the University of San Francisco, and previously served as the capital campaign director at St. Anthony Foundation in San Francisco.
Eric earned his undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary in Virginia, master’s in business administration from Oglethorpe University (Atlanta) and completed the Harvard University Graduate School of Education’s Institute for Educational Management program in 2016.
Eric works closely with the school’s development team, faculty, staff, alumni and other supporters in the community, as well as with the Dugoni School board members who help the school develop resources to realize its vision, purpose and goals.
A native of Springfield, VA (Washington D.C. metro), Eric moved to San Francisco in October of 2001 and has lived in the Mission, Noe Valley and Bernal Heights neighborhoods. He currently resides in the Sunset with his wife, Dr. Andrea Garber, daughter Arden (14), and son Larson (11).
