Dr. Mashkoor grew up in Sri Lanka, Dubai, and Pakistan. She obtained a post-baccalaureate graduate certificate in neurobiology graduating magna cum laude from the Medical College of Virginia. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry and completed her specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull.
