Kathryn Wise

Kathryn Wise, OTD, MHSc, OTR/L is an Assistant Clinical Professor and the Doctoral Capstone Coordinator for the Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program at University of the Pacific.  With a background in Occupational Therapy from McMaster University, Dr. Wise returned to academia and completed her MHSc (Health Administration) from the University of Toronto and her Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) from Boston University.  Dr. Wise is passionate about creating new and effective learning experiences for health professionals and is passionate about Interprofessional Education.  She has experience working with and leading teams across the healthcare continuum including home care and hospitals.  Her areas of research interest include leadership, health professional education, curriculum design, online learning, technology and innovation, and international health care systems.  Kathryn is excited to bring her knowledge of innovative healthcare education development and curriculum to the University of the Pacific.
