2022 edition of Pacific magazine captures momentum and growth
From the creation of transformative new spaces on campus, to the university’s ambitious expansion in health care education and a historic fundraising campaign, the dynamic energy of the past year is evident in the 2022 edition of “Pacific Magazine.”
The 132-page publication, in its second year, is now on its way to students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors, community members and parents.
A digital component added this year takes readers beyond the pages of the magazine to experience some of the stories in a new way, with additional imagery, content and videos.
President Christopher Callahan applauded the Strategic Communications team for producing what he called “the best university magazine I have ever seen.”
“Through powerful storytelling, compelling photos and spectacular design, the new Pacific Magazine shows the tremendous growth, energy and momentum across all three campuses, driven by our stellar students, faculty, staff, leaders, alumni and supporters,” the president said.
The annual magazine, previously known as Pacific Review, was redesigned and expanded in 2021 to better tell the story of California’s first and oldest university across its campuses in Sacramento, San Francisco and Stockton.
The cover of the 2022 edition features a bird’s-eye view of the newest class of Pacificans forming the iconic “P”. Inside, readers will see the many ways Pacific is shaping contemporary living and learning to adapt to 21st century students, the rapid growth of the School of Health Sciences, alumni’s fruitful venture into winemaking and a historic fundraising campaign that will impact students for years to come.
