Homecoming is this Friday, Oct. 12-14! Here's what you need to know

Pacific's Homecoming and Family Weekend celebration is upon us! A host of events are planned for this weekend, Oct. 12-14.

Here is what you need to know in advance of the weekend:

"Late Bird" Registration:

If you haven't registered yet, you will need to register onsite the day of the event, or you can call Alumni Relations at 1.866.575.7229. But don't delay, as popular events are filling up.

There's an app for that!

Alumni Relations has created an Instagram app you can use to navigate the many events of the weekend. Everything you need to know is at your fingertips. Just search pacifichomecoming on your Instagram app or online via instagram.com/pacifichomecoming, and away you go!

Parking impact:

On Thursday, Oct. 11, parking lot 2 by Kjeldsen Pool will be closed to parking all day for event set-up and Food Truck Frenzy later that evening. The north half of the lot will remain closed through 11 p.m. Saturday night, Oct. 13. Please note that two tents will remain in that lot until Monday, Oct. 23, when they will be taken down.

Help Wanted!!

There are numerous events and activities happening during this exciting weekend. Early registrations indicate this year will have a very high attendance of students, alumni, parents, faculty, staff and community members throughout the weekend. Your participation is critical to make the weekend a great success. Here is where help is still needed. Just click the link to sign up online if you would like to help.  (Staff can participate with supervisor approval, but non-exempt staff must flex their schedules or be paid overtime.)
