Michelle Camacho Visit

The Center for Teaching and Learning and the Office of the Provost hosted guest speaker, Dr. Michelle Camacho, Professor of Sociology from the University of San Diego in January. During her visit, Dr. Camacho presented a workshop to departmental chairs on "The Backstage of Leadership" and a public lecture on "Exploring Undergraduate Education in STEM and Promoting a Climate of Inclusion". Both events outlined strategies for anticipating conflict, overcoming implicit biases and fostering more inclusive working and learning environments.
