President's Division
Jeff Harris is the new senior director of communications in the Office of Marketing and Communications. Harris comes most recently from Hawaii Pacific University where he was the director of marketing, responsible for university brand management and marketing communications supporting enrollment, donor relations and athletics.
José Luis Villegas is the new university videographer and photographer in the Office of Marketing and Communications. An experienced photojournalist, Villegas previously worked at The Sacramento Bee for over 20 years. Prior to that, he was a photographer for the San Jose Mercury News. He graduated from the University of San Francisco/Academy of Art College with a BFA in photography.
Student Life

Leticia-Andrea Snoots-Caballero was promoted to assistant director of residential life in Residential Life and Housing.
Wanda Wright was promoted to administrative assistant III in Student Involvement.
Student Life merges Pacific Recreation and Office of Student Involvement.
Student Life has been realigning services offered to our students to create stronger synergies in programming. Part of this process involves merging the Office of Student Involvement and Pacific Recreation. Effective immediately, Marc Falkenstein has been appointed as executive director of the new department of Campus Life and University Center Services. Falkenstein will oversee student services including Pacific Recreation, Student Involvement, DeRosa University Center services, Conference Services, Student Activity Center/Clubs and Organizations, Fraternity and Sorority Life, the Pacific Bookstore, Student Government (ASuop, Arts and Entertainment, and Graphic Design), and Student Life Marketing and Communication. Falkenstein brings over 13 years of experience to this role and is charged with leading a very strong team of professionals in streamlining services and programming and maintaining facilities.
