Briggs, who earned a BA in communication and liberal arts from University College, spent decades as a registered nurse and is a long-time volunteer and mentor. Fellow alumna Gwendolyn Primous '13 was also quoted in the story.
"Point of Brew: Natufian craft brewers highlight ancient profession," The (Davis) Enterprise, Sept. 18, 2018: McGeorge's Daniel Croxall was mentioned in this commentary on the California Craft Brewers Association's "Beer Summit" and the general state of beer in the United States. Croxall teaches a course that "deals with the complicated laws, rules, regulations and practices that govern the alcohol-beverage industry in California," a portion of the commentary reads. "The alcohol industry is among the most regulated of any."

"The 1995 signing of the Oslo Accords in Washington, D.C., was supposed to pave the way toward a final settlement of the Palestine-Israel conflict," reads a portion of the story.
