Pacific women's basketball looks to rebound from tough year
Bradley Davis enters his eighth year as head coach of the Pacific women’s basketball program focused on rebounding from a difficult season.
The Tigers finished 6-23 overall, 3-14 in the West Coast Conference in 2021-22, but look to bounce back behind a more experienced roster, including last year’s standout freshmen Anaya James and Elizabeth Elliott.
“When you are trying to turn around from a rough season, it’s going to take hard work to get the momentum going,” said Davis, who has been with the program the past 17 years as an assistant and now head coach. “The message right now is one of work ethic.”
Last year, Pacific had one of the youngest teams in the conference, but 95 percent of the scoring returns.
