Students Have New Housing Options through Panoramic Partnership
April 23, 2020
Dental students looking to secure an apartment within walking distance to the Dugoni School now have more options thanks to the school’s new partnership with Panoramic Residences.
Effective July 2020, the school is providing 80 beds that will be available to be rented by DDS and IDS students. The new, high-rise residence is designed solely for students at Bay Area higher education institutions, a group that often struggles to find affordable options in the city. The Panoramic Residences are located at the heart of the South of Market district at 9th and Mission Streets, approximately four blocks away from the dental school and close to nearby transit options.
The school regularly receives questions from incoming students about housing options in the city, and provides resources and information to help them find a suitable fit. The negotiated rates for the new residences are designed to help reduce the overall cost of attendance, especially when compared to other market-rate apartments.
“Exploring options for student housing was a very important item for me when coming into my role as Dean,” said Dr. Nader A. Nadershahi. “We’re excited to offer this new option for the Dugoni School family.”
Incoming or continuing students may contact Darlene Tam at dtam@pacific.edu to learn more or request an application. View a gallery and learn about the apartment amenities at the Panoramic Residences website.
