University mileage reimbursement rate change effective Jan. 1

The university changed its mileage reimbursement rate effective Jan. 1, 2019 to $.58 per business mile, consistent with the latest U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) reimbursement rates for privately-owned vehicles (www.gsa.gov/mileage). This is an increase from the 2018 rate of $.545 per business mile.

This rate applies to any reimbursable business mileage occurring on or after Jan. 1. Mileage occurring prior to Jan. 1 will be reimbursed at the 2018 rate.
