About Us
The Pacific Health Care Collaborative is redefining health care. Capitalizing on the strength of University of the Pacific’s three health professional schools, the groundbreaking initiative will combine dental and medical services in a teaching and learning environment — the first of its kind at a U.S. university. The 30,000-square foot clinical facility is located on University of the Pacific’s Sacramento Campus in the historic Oak Park neighborhood.
The clinic includes eight medical exam rooms, two medical procedure rooms, 30 dental operatories, a future Ambulatory Surgery Center with two operating rooms, four enclosed sensory flexible medical/dental procedure rooms and a dedicated sensory waiting area for patients with intellectual, developmental and acquired disabilities with sensory sensitivity.
- Dentistry — Including consultations, check-ups, cleanings, fillings, implants, endodontics (root canal), dental hygiene, extractions, and other general dentistry services for adults, including emergency dental services. Sensory flexible care in dedicated rooms is also available for patients with intellectual, developmental and acquired disabilities. Dental care is provided by students in the International Dental Studies program with care overseen by expert faculty dentists from University of the Pacific’s Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.
- Medical, behavioral and wellness services — expanded services to come in late 2024!
The cost of dental care provided at the clinic is generally less expensive than a typical Sacramento private dental office. Most private insurance plans and DentiCal are accepted. Flexible payment plans are available for qualified patients. We also accept cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard.

What to Expect at Your First Visit
We want to be sure the Pacific Health Care Collaborative is a fit for your health care needs. Faculty dentists or other health specialists conduct a health screening examination for each new patient to make sure your needs and expectations are appropriate for an educational environment. All patients must be at least 14 years old.
