Community Legal Services (CLS)

Our legal clinics are available to community members who are facing legal challenges in the areas of Bankruptcy, Elder & Health Law, and Immigration who unable to afford representation from private attorneys. You'll work with students in a faculty-supervised, law-office setting.

Open House

Community Legal Services will have an Open House meet-and-greet for students on March 6, 2025. 

CLS Hours

Office hours: CLS is not accepting walk in requests for legal assistance. All others are by appointment only.

We only assist with Bankruptcy, Elder and Health Law, and Immigration. Unfortunately, we won't be able to get back to you if you ask about a subject outside our legal scope of services.

To qualify for legal services, you must have a low to modest income and live in Sacramento County. You must also be at least 60 years old to receive assistance from the Elder and Health Law Clinic.
