Will it be difficult to transition to student life?
Pacific offers a wide range of support to make your transition smooth. During Welcome Week, you’ll connect with other students, faculty, and staff and can get involved with student organizations. We’re here to help you settle into campus life!

How will my courses transfer to Pacific?
Your courses will be evaluated for credit once we receive your official transcripts. Pacific awards transfer credit for regionally accredited U.S. institutions, covering elective units, General Education requirements, and course equivalents where applicable. To complete a Transcript Evaluation, contact Transfer Admissions.

Need to switch majors or add a minor?
Schedule a meeting with your advisor. They’ll connect you with the appropriate department, where an academic advisor will walk you through the requirements and next steps.

Office hours are a great opportunity to build connections with your professors outside of class. They can provide clarity on course material, offer academic guidance, and even support your long-term goals. Regular visits can help you feel more connected and confident in your studies.

Meet regularly with your academic advisor to stay on track with your program requirements. Advisors can help you navigate your schedule, select classes that fit your major, and provide guidance if you’re considering adding a minor or changing majors. Planning your classes in advance will help ensure a smooth path to graduation.

Engaging in campus life can be key to a fulfilling transfer experience. Join clubs, participate in student organizations, and attend campus events. Getting involved helps you make new friends, build your network, and develop skills outside of the classroom.

It’s never too early to start planning for your career. Pacific’s Career Services can help with resume building, interview prep, and networking opportunities. Attend workshops and career fairs to gain insights into your field and connect with potential employers.

Your well-being is essential to your success. Make sure to take breaks, stay active, and find ways to relax amid your busy schedule. Pacific has health and wellness resources, including counseling and recreation, that can support your mental and physical well-being.
